What's 'Happening' This Weekend?
Active has teamed up with the creators of the Moonshine Festival to
bring you THE HAPPENING, a festival celebrating art, photography and music
hosted at the Orange County Museum on January 19 and 20, 2007. The event
will help raise money and awareness for a group of non-profit organizations, including
Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, National Transplant Assistance Fund and SurfAid
International. Portions of proceed will go the foundations.
The 2-day event features live music performances by Matt Costa, Money Mark
(from the Beastie Boys), Ray Barbee & The Mattson 2, Piers Faccini, Culver City
Dub Collective (Adam Topol of Jack Johnson), White Buffalo and Andrew Kidman
& The Mumlers.
Art and photography exhibits from Wolfgang Bloch, Thomas Campbell,
Jeff Canham, Joe Curren, Andy Davis, Harry Daily, Ned Evans, Laura Flippen,
Julie Goldstein, Robin Kegel, Alex Kopps, Andrew Kidman, Alex Knost, Michael
Leon, Greg LaMarche, David Lloyd, John McCaimbridge, Geoff McFetridge, Barry
McGee, Jason Murray, Randy Noborikwa, Scott Richards, Scott Soens, Rachell
Sumpter, Patrick Trefz, and Koji Toyoda & Alex Weinstein.
Also featuring films by Brian Lotti and The Malloys, 1st and Hope and
Woodshed #4.
Come kick in the New Year and support Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance,
National Transplant Assistance Fund and SurfAid International through art,
photography and music on January 19 and 20 at the Orange County Museum.
