Oregon Trifecta '07: Final Results And Photos!

Big ups go to Rune Glifberg and Benji Galloway for taking it at the 2007 Oregon Trifecta contest series!

Day 1: Lincoln City

Lincoln City Results:
1. Rune Glifberg
2. Benji Galloway
3. Mark 'Red' Scott

Day 2: Pier Park
Rune Glifberg went over the door both ways, Sergie Ventura went bigger than everybody, Benji Galloway went over the door backside and blunted through the corner pocket, and Morgan Burgess had 540's on command above the coping.

Pier Park Results:

Day 3: Tobin's
Battleground was rained out so the contest moved to a backyard swimming bowl called Tobin's. A very core, backyardish finals. It was a super fast small 10 ft. deep bowl that weeded out the men from the boys. The coping was gnarly, the session was on, little Morgan Burgess was beating up on the veterans spinning two 540's in the finals. Screech I think was the best over all skater, everybody thought Screech won. Rune Glifberg had the most power but was out maneuvered by the top four. Benji Galloway pulled it out at the end with longer lines and more switch tricks. Taylor Bingaman also killed it with long back tail slides.

The After Party:

The after party was pretty awesome. Roof top view of downtown right by Burnside, free beer lasted till 3 a.m. Rune Glifberg, Vince Duval, Tyler Mumma, Jimmy the Greek, Steve Olson, Brent Atchley... all the Skrotes were there as well as tons of locals, everybody had fun. Turned into a breakdance-off near the end.
