Crimson Midwest Tour, Day 11

On today's agenda we have 3 autograph signings in 3 different towns in Indiana. We stayed close to the hotel the night before, so after waking everyone up we headed to Warped Sports for the first stop of the day. The shop was half skate shop half paint ball store and when we arrived there we already kids skating in the parking lot. One of the kids had a scooter that the whole team ended up taking turns on. After numerous joy rides, Hot dogs, autographs, and popcorn it was time to hop in the vans for the next stop.

Blazing Wheels in La Porte was stop number two for today. It is a really small town with some the best people that you will ever meet. The shop has been around for 5 years and the owners are so down for skating that they run the shop out of their house!!! They had the bbq pit going and all the kids that skate in town were there hanging out. Since we had a little time before we had to be at the next shop, we drove down to the local park down the street. All of the ramps were made out metal, which meant that you could grind anything. With time running we waved goodbye to the kids, but not before Kris Markovich made a huge FS air transfer that they will remember for a long time.

Kelley's skateshop was our last signing of the day! Upon our arrival Kris Markovich was greeted by his wife and dog, who just drove in from Atlanta! Jeff from the shop had everyone come in through the back door so we wouldn't get mobbed by the kids! While the guys signed autographs the kids kept asking us if we were going to the park, so after the kids left the shop we headed over to the park. The street course was small and compact and they had a fun mini ramp there as well. The long day must have been catching up to us because before we left, two boards broke and three of us went down hard. Beaten and battered we hit the road...
