411VM's Love Affair available for FREE at skate shops, March 4th, 2008!

Happy Holidays from everyone at 411VM! This year, we are bringing you a special 411VM present with creative direction from none other than the legendary Mark Gonzales! The 522 On The 411 highlights Mark's special touch to the graphics, so you'll for sure want to get your hands on a copy of this FREE issue in stores on December 25, 2007 (well, maybe a day or two before...)!

Kickin' off the issue with a mean Openers segment, Don Nguyen Heelflips over one hell of a street gap and Felix 'Polo' May gives the infamous MACBA 4 a piece of his mind stompin' down a Fakie Varial Flip. Bolts! David Gravette wastes no time with an Ollie into a steep-ass gnarly bank and right into Chaos. Here we go again with Devin Appelo, Eric Fletcher, Dyson Ramones, Lee Yankou, Aldrin Garcia, and Jordan Hoffart!

"Hey 411VM, can I have a part?" asked Justin Schulte. "Sure you can," we said. Just like that Justin comes through with a full part showcasing his smooth style while taking his friends Tony Tave, Mike Anderson, Dennis Durrant, and Torey Pudwill along for the ride.

The Gonz drew upon on his childhood memories of listening to Camel and hanging out with his uncle for the theme behind the Krooked Montage. It displays the skateboarding talents of Bobby Worrest, Van Wastell, Dan Drehobl, and the rest of the Krooked squad.

Without pause, Mike Anderson spills his guts on his life goals of learning to draw, play guitar, and how he feels about art and skateboarding. Mike proves to be an interesting cat with some interesting skating to match.

We'd like to go on the record and say that the Adidas skate team is awesome and so is this montage. With Mark Gonzales Dave Bachinsky, Tim O'Connor, Vince Del Valle, Rob G, Nestor Judkins, Dennis Busenitz, Lem Villemin and the rest of the crew that spend all day dreaming about skating.

Putting the final nail in the coffin, Andrew Allen stumps Jake Phelps with a Switch Ollie to Last-Step-Disaster that's soon to turn into a classic skate quote. Andrew is the epitome of what raw street skating is all about: fast, powerful, and having the ability to skate any and all terrain without hesitation. Our friends at Anti-Hero are proud to have him on their team and holding down the last part.

Special Features include an extended edit of the Krooked Montage featuring tons more Gonz footy as well as a few extra clips of the team for everyone to enjoy. Hurley brings a hurricane to Orlando, Florida featuring Kris Markovich, Robert Lopez-Mont, and Justin Strubing. The Crimson team hit up the Midwest earlier this year. We got the footy covering it all from shop signings to demos with Richie Belton, James Atkin, Rick Eusey, Steve Fauser, and the rest of the guys that bleed skateboarding. The staple product guide shows off some of the new skate gear that's available so be on the lookout!

411's Comin' In Hot!

Though Summer is over and school is back in, 411 is Comin' In Hot! this Fall with the release of it newest DVD! Free! With Art Direction from High Grade Distribution's Lucian Moon, Comin' In Hot! will be burning up DVD players worldwide.

The Westside Warriors come out to play in the next segment featuring John Montessi's Westside Skateshop. Jimmy Lannon, Brian Downey, Nick Matlin, Mike Rosa, Westside's very own Dango and the return of Tyrone Olson (T-Bone!)

Jacksonville, FL is home to the legendary Kona Skatepark (30 years and still going) but it's also home to Mike Peterson, bringing you a full part with all his homeboys. Tranny gets killed, rails get handled, and gaps get destroyed all courtesy of Mr. Peterson himself.

From Arizona comes Powell's Josh Hawkins who is no stranger to the heat. Fresh skating at some unseen spots will have you looking into AZ real estate. Some people like to do tricks over gaps, Josh just rides through them. So sick.

Tune in to Yellow Broadcasting Systems as the Yellow Brand team featuring Brian Downey, Johan Stuckey, Adam Crew, and Mike Espinosa scramble your radio waves with some gnarly skating. But don't psych yourself out when Vermont's Dave Abair drops in to his own little segment immediately following.

The last part goes to the man from the last frontier, Alaska's very own Micah Hollinger. Even though Summer is over, break out the summer wine and watch with amazement as Micah tackles some not-so-natural spots with ease that truly defies death.

Don't be flexin' when the video is over 'cause 411 is bringing more heat with its bonus features. Up For Grabs, the newest release from 411VM, becomes available to the masses FREE on February 27th, 2007! Yeah, that's right! FREE! Getting hyped to go skate ain't a problem with Up For Grabs! A solid Openers with the classic 411VM theme song will make you say "DAAAM!" faster than Tha Alkaholiks! Kevin Romar sets the new standard for the term 'Bolts!' and Justin Figueroa brings a holy-shitter to the table with a 21-Stair Nosegrind that couldn't have been done better!

Jumping around to Chaos, Up For Grabs wastes no time as Greg Lutzka, Jerry Hsu, Tony Tave, and a bucket full of others kill it out in the streets. Hey Peter Raffin: Watch out for those chairs! Yikes!

411VM introduced Terell Robinson 4 years ago in issue #61 and already Terell has stood the test of time! So naturally, Classic Rock was fitting this time around as Terell wows audiences once again with a killer full part. Coming out swingin' with a huge gap Ollie you gotta see to believe, Terell's explosive pop and gnarly tricks (Kickflip Blunt Fakie Sylmar!) will get you off your ass, out the door and on your skateboard!

Feeling good after Terell's part, Up For Grabs follows up with a choice bag of tech from Derek Fukuhara and Jason Wakuzawa. Featuring Brandon Westgate, Rodney Torres, Luis Tolentino, Eli Reed, and Zered Bassett, the Big Apple skaters are holding it down on the East Coast and this montage represents! For real, yo!

Transitioning from one side of the world to another, Up For Grabs hangs up to dry with a full part from Chad Bartie. Anybody who is awake in skateboarding these days knows that transition skating is the shit. Dylan Rieder knows it; Chris Haslam knows it; hell, Chad Bartie should teach it! Every skater needs a 4:30am wake up call to get their butts up out of bed and get those wallrides down! What's young, Brazilian and rips? Why, it's Danny Cerezini of course! Currently holding it down in the OC, this up-and-coming Am is throwing it down all over the place, and making it look too easy while he's at it! This smooth part from Danny will sure open your eyes!

What's a synonym for Switchstance? Andre Genovesi! Recently added to the Hosoi Skates Pro roster, 411's got the debut pro part with the master of switch himself! This guy takes a licking and keeps on ticking! Also featuring Christian Hosoi, Daniel Cardone and Richard Mulder, you won't want to miss this!

Daewon Song, Daniel Castillo, Zered Bassett, Chico Brenes and Torey Pudwill spent two weeks touring Mexico and Costa Rica, eating some good authentic cuisine and shredding up some unique spots. Did you see that line up? Yeah, this Chupa Cabra Tour is on point!

To wrap everything up, 14-4 brings you Chico Brenes, the Nicaraguan-turned-SF-native whose ability to push should be a trick in S.K.A.T.E. Across the pond comes the Cliche team (winners of the 2006 TWS Best Team Award!) who wreck shop in Sicily, Italy. Featuring Joey Brezinski, Vincent Bressol, Javier Mendizabal and Lucas Puig, these Euros rip the streets hard enough to make the Godfather have a heart attack!

Florida is known for its oranges, but will soon be known as the home of Ben Gore, the World Industries Am that comes through with a rippin' part to keep you rockin' all night!

Emmanuel Guzman and Sid Melvin knock out walls with a part that proves that Santa Cruz Skateboards has one helluva team! Sid's got styles for miles and Emmanuel has the balls that most skaters only wish they had!

The Duffs Montage illustrates the diversity of the Duffs team; with the quickness of Jason Adams, the creativity of Louie Barletta, the uniqueness of Pat Rakestraw, the rawness of Adam Alfaro and the pure talent of Dyson Ramones, you'll be asking yourself "Am I good, man?"

No Duffs Montage would be complete without a little bit of Don Nguyen...but why have a little bit? Let's go huge! "Mack Now, Not Later" Handrails beware: When Paul Machnau is near, you WILL get destroyed! With his relentless attack on everything in his path, Paul wastes no time to Mack Now, Not Later! Featuring a mini-part of the Darkstar crew including Mike Hastie, PLG and Chet Thomas, this section will leave you salivating!

"Surround Sound" Kick off the shoes and relax the socks as the Stereo Sound Agency brings you Surround Sound, a montage of the Stereo Sound Agents doing what they do best: skating and creating.
